Following cancer treatment in 2009, I struggled to follow my doctor's good advice to lose weight and eat more fruits and vegetables. I dutifully weighed and measured my food, tracked points, calories and fat grams, and controlled portion size - but it was not sustainable.
When I discovered the world of plant-based nutrition and cuisine, everything fell into place! I lost that last 20 pounds and I've kept it off. My seasonal allergies disappeared (who knew?) I gained tons of energy. And I have peace of mind, knowing that I'm doing all I can to manage my health.
As a regular home cook, I teach practical skills for creating plant-centered meals that are tasty, simple and easy to prepare. We use whole, unprocessed ingredients that are naturally low in fat, cholesterol and calories so that you can satisfy your hunger naturally. And you'll be amazed how delicious whole, unprocessed plant food can be.
